    First off these two weapons being battle mage exclusive is a bit of a hinderance to Path of the Sword users as they’ll be missing an upgrade option on their weapons specializations. I’m all for battle mage weaponry coming out but at the same time we’re seeing staves and wands released which are path of the staff exclusive and much more widely used by staffies. So while they’re getting great staff upgrades path of the sword users are stuck using last packs weapons as these new ones aren’t viable. If battle mage items must be released at least send some path of the sword items of the same proficiency along with it.

    If they leave the Staff stats as it is right now it will be worth more than some artifacts. Maybe the dev felt that there were not enough mages and druids in the game ;)

    like Sith said, let’s make these jewels worth something finally. either sockets, or +1 thru +10 power amplification (with a chance to break) or at least ability to add stats… i.e. +10 stam, int, perc…

    I’m not a blunt weapon user, but they’re getting screwed over big time in this set. Sad thing. Also, the STR IP staff is gonna make that opener more OP than it already is. Not a smart move. Chestpieces look GREAT. Certainly the picks of the set. Wands are throw aways mainly. Sword, why have a STAM/RESIST sword in the 45-135 damage range when you already have on?

    On another good note though, at least there are not arti-weapons. That would be a disaster beyond a disaster.

    Looks like a good Str IP staff, Ice Storm staff, and an Axe for PS.

    Interested in seeing what function slots perform.

    Lastly, although the Melee weapons with Int look decent I am not sure how many battle mages we will see popping up.

    make the assassin/warrior chests into shoulders. That way the sword path can use hph chest + these new ones. Staffies will be able to use one of their new chests + hph mantle - make it fair.

    IMO the assasin chest are weak to be an artifact.. so have expensive power cost and low %bonus.. maybe more Per and few more % of dodge or critical… the armor bonus and defense are good.

    Not a fan of the new wands whatsoever. They look like they were randomly pulled out of a hat and chosen to be the new stuff. Wand users rely on crit, so that dodge wand will inevitably suck. Then you have the stacked speed wand, interesting thing although not too many wand users are full on speed these days I’d suggest going back to the drawing board for that unless you’re looking to release more crap that wand users will not use.

    The first two artifacts are borderline artifact quality… I say that they are only a tip toe better than the existing orange legendaries in NSV; really disappointing.

    Some of these orange weapons are beyond powerful and should be considered RED with their stats and focusing points. I wouldn’t mind that staff to be umped up to red…it would overpower a few skills though.

    On a side note, think about this:
    Most duelists are still warriors/assassins, so they may be trying to get more players to join the staff side…

    What is the slot use for? Does Gem is useful now? I’m glad to see that gem is useful such as adding little stats, or crit and hit. Can’t wait to use it!! LoL
